Michael Costoulas

Michael Costoulas serves as President of BDI Roofing Group, bringing 35 years of experience in the roofing and construction industry. With more than two decades of executive leadership across commercial roofing, service operations, and general contracting, Michael provides the strategic insight and operational discipline needed to lead organizations through growth, complexity, and change.

Throughout his career, Michael has held executive leadership roles focused on scaling operations, improving profitability, strengthening client relationships, and building high-performing teams. His background in general contracting gives him a comprehensive understanding of construction workflows, trade coordination, contract administration, and the importance of delivering projects on time and within budget. This perspective allows him to approach roofing not just as a standalone trade, but as a critical component of broader building systems and client objectives.

As President of BDI Roofing Group, Michael leads the integration of legacy organizations into a unified, full-service roofing platform. His focus is on operational consistency, service excellence, financial performance, and company culture, ensuring teams are supported, clients are well served, and the organization is positioned for long-term success.

Michael is known for his analytical, solutions-driven approach paired with a people-first leadership style. He places a strong emphasis on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement, believing sustainable success is built through disciplined execution and trusted partnerships. One of the most rewarding aspects of his role is mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders within the organization.

Michael is a licensed General Contractor in 13 states. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching varsity baseball, offshore fishing, and spending time at the beach. A fun fact many may not know is that he is a certified scuba diver and has logged dives in locations around the world, including Hawai‘i, Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, and Honduras.
