Wendell Hanley serves as Director of Training and Safety Manager at BDI Roofing Group and brings more than 40 years of experience in the roofing and construction industry. His career has been shaped by a deep commitment to people, with a singular focus on ensuring every team member goes home safely to their family at the end of the day.
Wendell’s expertise spans every aspect of roofing, from A to Z, giving him a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and human sides of the industry. He is especially passionate about training and education and finds great fulfillment in seeing knowledge truly connect, those moments when information clicks and becomes personal, practical, and life-changing for those he’s teaching.
He holds numerous instructor certifications, including OSHA 10 and 30, First Aid and CPR, and equipment training certifications for forklifts, lulls, and reach lifts. Wendell believes what sets BDI Roofing Group apart is the depth of expertise within the team and the company’s ability to handle any roofing situation while delivering results that are truly Bone Dry.
