Gilbert Diaz III

Gilbert Diaz serves as the Residential Department Manager at BDI Roofing Group, bringing nearly a decade of experience in the roofing and construction industry to his role. After entering the industry shortly after college through an unexpected opportunity, Gilbert quickly discovered a strong fit and has since built his career through hands-on experience, leadership, and a commitment to excellence.

As the leader of BDI Roofing Group’s residential division, Gilbert oversees every phase of the roofing process, from initial inspections and estimates through production, warranties, and long-term client relationships. He remains closely involved throughout each project to ensure homeowners receive a seamless experience and a roofing system that performs.

Gilbert is especially passionate about creating a smooth, transparent process for homeowners and property managers, pairing clear communication with consistent follow-through. He also takes pride in building strong teams that deliver reliable results and uphold BDI’s high standards of craftsmanship and accountability.

He has completed extensive internal and manufacturer training and holds Tesla Roofing Certification, alongside ongoing education focused on best practices, installation standards, and leadership development.

Outside of work, Gilbert enjoys golfing, staying active, spending time with family and friends, and diving into technology projects. A fun fact many people don’t know — he can solve a Rubik’s Cube.
